Powered by fuel cell technology, and covered in a synthetic skin, the toy is customizable with tattoos, piercings and even tanning. The point, apparently, is to reconnect the kids with "real human interactions."

My favorite local Atlanta band right now is Envie. Shunning the conventions of both classical and rock and roll, they are a little hard to place into a neat box. I just saw this Athens, GA band play live the other night and I was really blown away. The juxtaposition of distorted guitar over clean violin creates a dense wall of melody that you are sure to enjoy. The layering of rock and classical instruments over a driving beat reminds me of Arcade Fire, or, to a lesser extent Sufjan Stevens, while the vocals insinuate Pixies.
